Domestic Electrician

Entry requirements

You’ll usually need:

  • A level 2 apprenticeship or passed five GCSEs

Assessment methods

The programme is assessed in various ways before completing the End Point Assessment, including an observation of practical competence in a controlled environment, scenario based interview and online knowledge assessment.

Restrictions and requirements

  • Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

  • Duration: 36 months
  • Relevant school subjects:  DT
  • Potential salary upon completion: £28,000 per annum
