Data Technician

Data Technician

On a data technician apprenticeship course, you’ll help source, format and present data securely and in a relevant way for analysis.

Data technologists work in various sectors, and your primary duty will be to collect, process, and display data securely and acceptably for analysis using basic methods.

In your daily work, you will communicate relevant findings to the audience; analyse structured and unstructured data to support business goals; combine data from different sources as directed, and apply legal and ethical standards when modifying data.

Because you’ll be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, customers, and internal and external suppliers, you’ll be an outstanding communicator.
