The Apprenticeship Levy encourages companies to spend on apprenticeship training to increase the quality and number of apprenticeships in the United Kingdom.
Businesses that spend more than £3 million on wages each year contribute to an apprenticeship account. So if your company has paid the levy, they have already set aside money for apprenticeships and are eager to put them to use!
Your company is exempt from paying the apprenticeship levy if it spends less than £3 million on wages yearly. You may, however, be able to complete an apprenticeship.
Your company may pay for your apprenticeship tuition and then claim 90 to 100 per cent of it back from the government.
