What Is An Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

Level 2 apprenticeships, often referred to as intermediate apprenticeships, are equal to five A*-C GCSEs (or 9 to 4 on the new scales).

On an intermediate-level apprenticeship, you will work full-time for an employer while attending college or a training institution to get a certification.

At this level, your apprenticeship will be designed to prepare you for employment to the best of your ability rather than to focus on quickly increasing your responsibility.

However, this does not mean you will not have any. On the contrary, you’ll get valuable employability skills and specialised training from your company.
