What is an Apprenticeship Scheme

In a nutshell, an apprenticeship scheme is a period of time in which you may undergo practical training while still pursuing a qualification.

Apprenticeship programmes are planned as an alternative to sixth form or university for school leavers, young adults aged 16 to 24 or even people 25 and over.

Collaborating with experienced workers who will teach you the ins and outs of a job is important. Apprentices learn from the brightest, seasoned workers who know their way around a building site or a sales floor and can recommend the best ways to approach things.

These experienced professionals teach apprentices essential business expertise. In addition to advanced qualifications, apprentices receive a nationally recognised qualification.
