What Age Can I Get an Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships will help you get a foot in the door for your dream job. An apprenticeship is a work-based training programme for people who choose to develop new skills and experience a particular field.

Apprentices spend most of their time employed and studying on the job, with just a tiny portion of their time finished reading. Apprenticeships end in a recognised qualification as well.

What age can I get an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are open to anybody above the age of 16 who is not participating in full-time training/education, meaning you can get an apprenticeship even if your 100. There are no age restrictions, although they are usually aimed at adults aged 16 to 24.

Apprenticeships are a great way to obtain experience in the profession you choose to work in. You’ll be honing your skills and having something to place on your resume at the end. It will also help you determine if the job you thought you wanted is really for you.
