Long hours, stress, anger, anxiety, depression and misery. This all coming from a management team who don’t know how to treat their employees. Drivers angry, passengers angry, and management know all this and the saddest part is they DON’T CARE.

ok job, if you come to work on time, stay off radar

Decent place to work, managers ok-ish, however control team ,,old school”, so called ,,senior controller” changes his mood faster than a woman on her period”.

Drivers brilliant, very helpful – good atmosphere.

Non stop

Management is the worst part of the job, constantly on your back. Buses could be old and uncomfortable, some without working air con / heating. Schedules too tight

Opportunities

I’ve been given opportunities to learn and move beyond what was previously possible for me with the help of Stagecoach’s trade up apprenticeship scheme. I am now working towards becoming a qualified mechanic, whilst keeping my bus drivers salary.

Pros

Opportunity

Cons

Can be unsocial hours as a driver.
