Senior Metrology Technician

Senior Metrology Technician

On a senior metrology technician apprenticeship course, you’ll help manage resources and measurement activities and implement sustainable processes and techniques.

You will be trained in developing and monitoring measurement capability and capacity to eventually take responsibility for the planning, quality, accuracy, timely delivery, and evaluation of metrology activities within your area of responsibility.

You’ll learn how to put a measurement strategy into action and understand its business consequences. You will analyse, interpret, and evaluate data to influence future measurement advancements. Audits and risk assessments are two of the tasks you will participate in and advise.

You will also create and maintain effective communication channels and relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. Because you understand the industry, your organisation, and its customers, you will be able to take the lead in developing strategic solutions to measurement difficulties and chances for improvement.
