Shambolic

Rated 1 out of 5

Pros

Flexible working, holidays, pay

Cons

Training, management, It systems

Did not enjoy working here. Lack of support and not inclusive. No well being and stressful

Great place to work

Rated 5 out of 5

Worked there for 34 years was very sad that the company closed down the site which lead to mass redundancy but been a great place to work.

Most people are working remotely now which doesn’t suit everyone but convenient if it does

Decent place, middling salary, little room for advancement

Rated 4 out of 5

Decent place, middling salary, little room for advancement or progression. Every bank is closing branches, that’s not unique to Santander, but it means that if you want to progress you basically have to wait for someone to retire. They recently announced an extra 4% rise on top of their already announced annual pay increase to try help with cost of living.

Toxic work environment

Rated 1 out of 5

Management far too full of their own importance without actually managing staff. Hotdesking is a horrible way to work carrying belongings around in a carrier bag. Ridiculous dress code when you are working in a call centre. No one ever around to assist with difficult calls.
