Is an Apprenticeship Classed as Further Education

A full-time apprenticeship is a full-time job that includes studying, so in theory, an apprenticeship can be classed as further education.

You’re treated the same as every other paid employee but you’re also aiming for debt-free status.

Intend to work 30 hours a week with your employer, including one day of study at the workplace, university, school, or the internet. All must be spelt out in the contract between you and your employer.

However, the general appeal for apprentices remains the same: the reward for work and study is that your tuition expenses are covered by both your employer and the government.

So you join the workforce while getting further education, with nothing to repay.
