How Long Is A Tiling Apprenticeship

As you would expect, wall and floor tiling jobs will see you working on residential houses, tiling the walls and floors of kitchens and bathrooms.

This may involve simple private chores such as improving an existing bathroom or kitchen. However, you may also be working on housing projects, such as tiling the walls and floors of brand-new estate houses.

However, tiling jobs for walls and floors are not restricted to residential structures. Your skills may lead to employment tiling commercial buildings, shopping centres, airports, hospitals, schools, and hotels.

Consider the many tiles you might be working on within these locations. For example, tiling a school or hospital will require a different set of tiles and skills than tiling a luxury hotel.

In most cases, a tilling apprenticeship is between 30 and 36 months. However, this may be shortened if an apprentice is partly qualified.
