How long is a bakery apprenticeship?
Baking Apprenticeships at this level provide extensive industry experience if you serve as a bakery assistant. Level 2 baking apprenticeships will last somewhere between 18 months and two years.
For becoming an advanced baker if you wish to practise baking and becoming a professional. You would be eligible to advance from bakery assistant roles to supervisory positions and, eventually, bakery manager jobs depending on the organisation’s size.
The advanced baker apprenticeship standards can take two years to be thoroughly qualified to learn your career.
