The childcare level 2 apprenticeship is a work-based certificate that enables you to develop your skills and demonstrate them in your chosen setting. The level 2 apprenticeship offers various credentials that will equip learners with the skills and information required to operate in the industry.
Students who complete the level 2 apprenticeship will learn how to provide excellent care while contributing to children’s and young people’s social development and practical skills. Throughout their programme, apprentice students will learn under the supervision of experienced practitioners.
The apprenticeship takes 12 months to complete in England and 18 months to complete in Wales.
