Hospitality Team Member

Hospitality Team Member

On a hospitality team member apprenticeship course, you’ll help carry out a range of general and specialist roles within hospitality businesses.

A hospitality team member may work in various locations, including pubs, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels, or contract caterers.

Although you will most likely specialise in one area, you must be adaptable and ready to assist team members throughout the organisation, particularly during peak seasons.

You might specialise in food and beverage service, alcoholic beverages, barista, food preparation, housekeeping, concierge and guest services, reception, reservations, and conference and banqueting.

The most important feature of the job is developing incredible hospitality skills and knowledge, such as recognising customer wants, knowing how to match them to the company’s products and services, and working as part of a team.
