Fashion Studio Assistant

Fashion Studio Assistant

On a fashion studio assistant apprenticeship course, you’ll help work with the team that creates a fashion collection.

The fashion studio assistant is an important position in the designer industry as part of the team that creates a collection. This apprenticeship will introduce you to the designer fashion industry, giving you hands-on exposure to a brand’s product and marketing sides.

In a bigger firm, this job would primarily focus on the studio, but in a smaller company, this individual may be involved in many other business areas.

Your apprenticeship will be busy, challenging, and fascinating, with a diverse set of responsibilities and a thorough education in the reality of day-to-day life in a creative business. The apprenticeship starts in the studio, the heart of a designer’s business, to learn how a collection is made.

A 12-month commitment will follow it in a more focused area of the business, such as product development or production, sales and operations, or fashion marketing and communications. To progress in this diverse industry, a solid understanding of creating a collection is needed.
