Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager

On a facilities manager apprenticeship course, you’ll help ensure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the people working there.

A facilities manager works in the commercial, public, or non-profit sectors and various organisations of different sizes. As a facilities manager, you will create a safe, secure, and pleasant working environment for buildings, assets, and services that must adhere to all health and safety rules and laws.

You will be held accountable for administering all services within your area. In addition, you will ensure that the performance standards offered for the properties, assets, and services satisfy customer expectations while being within budget.

You may work in-house or for a business that outsources your job. If completed successfully, this apprenticeship will meet the full requirements of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) at the associate level. As a result, you will be awarded BIFM associate membership.
