Do I Get Child Benefit If Child On Apprenticeship

Families that enrol their children in apprenticeships lose child benefits under the existing system since they are working.

On the other hand, families of A-level students continue to get benefits if they qualify, even if the child works independently.

A kid over 16 enrolled in an apprenticeship in England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland will not be eligible for Child Benefits.

In Wales, Child Benefit will be offered to children over the age of 16 who are engaged in a trainee or foundation apprenticeship.
