Can You Do A Nursing Apprenticeship

Individuals can train as apprentices to become registered nurses via the nursing degree apprenticeship.

Employers provide apprentices permission to study part-time at a training provider and in various practice placement sites. They will attend approved Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) education providers and be subject to the same standards as other student nurses.

Anyone may become an apprentice nurse if they meet the entry requirements for the degree programme as stated in the standards and their employer believes they are capable of the academic learning required to become a degree registered nurse. Please discuss your interest in the nursing degree apprenticeship with your boss if you work in a health or care setting.
