Can You Do 2 Apprenticeships at the Same Time

Any qualified individual can be sponsored to undertake an apprenticeship higher than the one they currently hold, even though they have already held an apprenticeship.

Can you do 2 apprenticeships at the same time?

You will be funded as an apprentice to perform an apprenticeship at the same or lower level than their existing credential if the apprenticeship would enable the pupil to learn substantive new skills.

The apprenticeship is at the same or lower level than prior qualifications, evidence that the apprenticeship leads to substantive new skills and that the learning is materially different. This evidence may include the following

  • Prior certificates, including modules/units accomplished, may be compared to the apprenticeship standard, demonstrating how they differ significantly.
  • Examining ability deficits, explaining the individual’s new talents and how the apprenticeship will help them resolve them.

In conclusion, you can do two apprenticeships if they are part-time, but this is unlucky as most are full-time and likely depend on funding.
