The answer is yes if you’re wondering if you can get an apprenticeship without a GCSE. Apprenticeships do not need GCSEs or other credentials.
Don’t worry if you have no previous experience until beginning an apprenticeship; hundreds of positions are open to you. Any entry-level (intermediate) apprenticeships do not need any qualifications. These are equivalent to 5 GCSEs, and once completed, you will be eligible to start an advanced level apprenticeship.
If you do not have GCSEs in English, Maths, or IT, you would most likely be asked to complete functional skills in addition to your apprenticeship.
