Bagnalls is the leading, family-owned, painting and decorating contractor, established in 1875. We employ around 600 people across our network of 16 branches across the UK.
Bagnalls has a reputation for investing in the development of its employees across all aspects of the business. From an active apprenticeship support programme to continuous professional development (CPD) management training, we take the improvement of our people very seriously.

We are proud that the management team have clocked up an average length of service of 24 years. Four of our seven Executive Board members started as Management Trainees with Bagnalls, with many more Branch Managers starting as apprentices or trainees with the business.

I was a concrete repairs labourer. My days normally consisted of clearing areas, using a kango to break up, filling up skips, mixing and pouring concrete and moving tools around.
Great workplace.
Great environment to work in, fun characters, I enjoyed my time working there I just found painting and decorating wasn’t for me however the people and job itself was fantastic.
