Non Caring Company
For a company that is meant to give care to residents and families, their treatment of staff is appalling. No mental support, and told you are a liar
long hours and under a lot of pressure
hours are really really long, they said you’re meant to do one 13 hour shift a week, but in my time there i was only being given 13 hour shifts. short staffed pretty much everyday, so a lot of work falls onto you and there’s a lot of pressure on you, especially in the mornings. you work a lot and really hard and it feels like you live there and when your wage goes in you’re just utterly disappointed!!! management were really nice people tho, not sure what was happening in the unit
horrible place, always short staffed, useless management, no work/life balance as they are expecting you to work 24/7 and when you refuse do overtime, they try to play with your feelings and make you feel bad for it.. Horrible pay rate not worth all the stress.. plus they tend to change your rota quite often, without telling you
Liked valued and always there to help. Training fantastic great company to work for, very fair and staff are a team and help eachother . Not there now but believe it’s still good and manager still there after a few years, she was great and supportive
The work life balance was not there. when it was a day off you’d be phoned by the house manager and be spoken down to regarding someone going for a break (legal) so they couldn’t find them. being damned to go into work on a day off to flip pancakes with the clients.
