Amazon

About us

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one.

Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.

In an employee performance review, managers evaluate that individual’s overall performance, identify their strengths and weaknesses, offer feedback, and help them set goals. Employees typically have the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback with their manager as well.

Pros

Good

Cons

Good

Poor place to work

Rated 1 out of 5

Too many parcels and not enough time. Wanna be exhausted and not eat on a 10 hour shift AND have to do your business in a bottle… then work for Amazon.

Fast paced

Rated 2 out of 5

Excessive amount of parcels per day, very fast paced often with no breaks to try and get finished up at a reasonable hour. Short term this is an OK job to pay the bills, long term absolutely no chance.

Pros

Can’t think of any

Cons

Many
